First Aid Bed My Son Fights Going To Bed. Is It Safe To Give Him A Sleep Aid Like A Herbal Decaf Camomille Tea?

My son fights going to bed. Is it safe to give him a sleep aid like a herbal decaf camomille tea? - first aid bed

We talked about reading, bath time, night light, soothing music, routines, etc., it is 2.5 years and a cot. It takes about an hour, or the lack of a nap in the afternoon to the success of the process.

It's okay to try the tea. My doctor recommended that they have problems with our now 4 years. We are seriously struggling with this for over a year. It was a terrible night! I wish someone would just have my head and was like "duh!"

Our domain controller had told the whole time, create a short routine, put him to bed, good night, left the room and closed and locked the door. We fought and they fought. We thought it was cruel. However, we do not sleep. I slept on the floor, crawled out of bed for the night and then migrate. So, finally, we recommend routine and left. The first night he cried for 25 minutes. Never open the door, he never said anything. On the second night, 10 minutes. Third night, he asked to go to bed and do not close the door for us! Freakin It was a miracle.

Before him, though not involved in the process. We said we would help us to choose the door of the safe, we have new, so many pages that tell the boy why she does this, etc. He knew what was coming.

In addition, the NAP not stop. In 2 1 / 2 still necessary for most. My son is 4 and still is sometimes. They want him to set up a bedtime routine and get to sleep on her own downfall, not only because it is completely cooked in the night.

Good luck!

We also give our son the tea. It has a calming effect, but also good for digestion. It's just a great thing to add onto your diet, and the strength of the tea, not to its detriment, not on them or something.
I believe that NAPs are great, I'm not enough. My son is 3.5 and still have a long sleep during the day. They can and get a better night. It used to take time to download it, but neither he nor we have more improved, and now we have to say: "Sleep" and is in bed.
I think you are doing something good. This can take some down time, which (and him) a little longer and is easier to get to, has increased exponentially.
Good Luck

Not safe for them sleepaides. If you have trouble sleeping (and not just about a fight) like normal kids, then you can talk with the doctor about the various types of assistance, but can not alone, sleep drugs herbal only. You need to understand why they fought. Will you stay in bed when you leave the room or get up it? Did he fear that something in your room? Do you have nightmares of him want to stay awake? Worried about something? You still listen to ?.... There is a long list of things to know, why not go to sleep, to solve the problem happens. If only their struggle should be in bed in his room with the door closed, and when he cries, you need to grieve (if not there, because he's afraid). Are you tired? When kids go (and adults), meaning that it gets tired, can not sleep at night when you resume again.
