Why isn't the beef recall in California in more news headlines? - beef retail

I read my news primarily online, so do not know of major newspapers, but I've only in the removal of beef from California when I was in the list of Yahoo Search. It belongs to all holders of the Main! It's eat what we do! Here are some of the FDA press release:
WASHINGTON, 3 June 2007 - United Food Group, LLC, Vernon, Calif., establishment, is voluntarily recalling some 75,000 pounds of ground beef, because they may be contaminated with E. coli O157: H7, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service announced today. The problem was discovered through sampling by the California Department of Health and the Colorado Health Department, done in coordination with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as part of research about the disease. The floor was made of beef and 20 April to distribution centers to retailers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Oregon and Utah.

The majority of beef is affected by the recall, probably used up.

I saw on national news a few days ago. I do not know much more coverage as you want. It only affects 11 states.
