I once had have a wooden racquet, and I wonder what happens to each of them in the tennis pro or amateur?

Wood bats are allowed, but if you were playing a tournament with a bat made of wood, it would look like if you were in Iraq to fight with a sling-shot. Wood has long since disappeared.
